Delivery & Install
Once you have ordered and paid for your new kennel, we will arrange a suitable time for delivery and install. We do not use contractors and build everything ourselves onsite.
INSTALL
We build your kennels for you ourselves using our timber or pre fabricated steel bases to ensure fewer groundworks and less mess.
THINGS TO CONSIDER & CONFIRM
The average double kennel and base weighs approx 400-500 kg and are large panels.
We require a level(ish) area for the install. We do carry ground screws and blocks (if used - may incure an extra cost) but sometimes depending on the ground, paving slabs or blocks can be an easier option. Sleepers are also common in more uneven situations.
We require adequate parking outside your property for our delivery vehicles.
We cannot carry materials across roads, through houses, garages, lean to’s or long distance carries without prior discussions.
We will not pass our materials through (or over) your neighbours fences without prior written permission.
We will need to bring all the materials large and small on site and will need to know if there are any height or width restrictions prior to install - including overhead cables, gate arches or narrow passages, steps/steep stairs up to location of install.
Washing lines should be removed to allow direct access to assembly site.
We allow allocated time slots for each assembly and events such as poor access or carrying materials through a property create delays which are not accounted for.
A 300mm / 12” / 1ft breathing gap is required around the final erect kennel.
Trees, shrubs and bushes should be trimmed/cut back prior to our team’s arrival. We do not cut or trim trees.
Any fines due to parking permits or yellow lines will be passed on to the client unless notified prior to delivery.
If we are not made aware of any of the issues above prior to the day of installation - your kennel may not be assembled.
If you think there may be an issue, please contact us to discuss.
Although we have never had any problems - we cannot offer any insurances against property damage.
We carry out all our onsite work with the utmost professionalism. All our staff wear Timberbuild branded clothing and your site will be treated with respect. Before we arrive, we’ll need to make sure that you have adequate access so that we don’t disturb you or your neighbours.
As well as initial install of your kennels, we can also offer:
RELOCATION
Are you moving home and want to take your kennel with you? Not a problem, we can easily help you with this.
COLLECT & STORE
We’re also happy to collect and store your kennel for you if this is something you might need.
General Hygiene: Kennels for relocation and storing must be thoroughly cleaned, washed and dried PRIOR to our arrival. Collection may not take place if we feel hygiene concerns aren’t met.
