Kennel Bases

If you haven’t got a suitable hard standing or an area for your kennel, we can offer bases to suit your new kennel. Our bases are manufactured by Timberbuild craftsmen to meet your requirements perfectly.

The bases reduce the amount of groundwork required to install the kennel so making the process a one stage install.

A 4x2 tanalised plinth with a hexa grip board base

Using our bases

The ground where the base is to be sited will still have to be relatively level and we recommend tanalised bases are sat on a concrete flag to aid longevity (also still bases in certain circumstances)

Bases can be levelled using flat stones (provided by the customer) or groundscrews which we carry in our vehicle. Ground screws are charged depending on the number required to level the base. Ground screws will not level a base with a full of around 4” (100mm) or more.

If you require us to level a base using flagstones, these must be provided and be close to where the kennel is to be installed.

Our fitters do not carry out any type of groundworks.
